Пояснительная записка

Цель проекта : создание дидактического материала с целью оказания помощи учащимся 7-8 класса при закреплении темы “Проблемы подростков в школе”.

Задачи проекта :

• Развивать умения и навыки самостоятельного поиска информации по данной теме в различных источниках, вычленять необходимый материал из большого информационного поля, уметь правильно и эстетично оформлять результаты своей деятельности в виде презентации;
• Формировать навыки работы за компьютером, повышать информационную грамотность
• Провести опрос среди учащихся, учителей и родителей, исследовать уровень знаний и мнения о школе, школьной форме и правил для учителей и учащихся
• Развивать творческие способности и коммуникабельность учащихся.

Основные проблемы, которые решает проект :

• Показать целостное представление о том, какая должна быть школа, по мнению учащихся.
• Показать значимость проблемы введения школьной формы, правил поведения, прав и обязанностей в школе.
• Привлечь интерес окружающих к проблемам школы.

Тип проекта : учебно – информационный («Школа моей мечты»)

Организационные формы реализации проекта:

• Подготовка. Определение темы, цели и задач проекта. Формирование рабочей группы.
• Сбор материала по теме проекта. Определение источников информации.
• Проведение опросов среди учащихся, учителей и родителей, исследование уровень знаний и мнения о школе, школьной форме и правил для учителей и учащихся
• Обработка данных опроса и выявление наиболее популярных ответов.
• Полный анализ информации и представление данной информации в форме презентации.
• Создание сценария игры «Сто к одному», на основе материала проекта.
• Устная презентация проекта и проведение игры «Сто к одному» в школе.
• Защита проекта на районном конкурсе.

Результаты работы над проектом:

• Практический: поиск информации и проведение опросов о школе, школьной форме, правилах поведения в школе
• Методический: материал по теме “Школа моей мечты” можно использовать на уроках английского языка в 7-8 классах.
• Образовательный: развитие познавательных навыков учащихся, умения ориентироваться в информационном пространстве и критически осмысливать полученную информацию, преодоление языкового барьера при общении со сверстниками.
• Развивающий: работа по данному материалу на уроках приведет к развитию интереса и формированию устойчивых знаний школьников по изучаемому вопросу.

Продуктом данного проекта является методическая разработка проекта, которая может быть использована на уроках английского языка и во внеклассной работе по теме “Проблемы подростков в школе”.

Содержание проекта на английском языке

The School of My Dream

I would like to change something in my school. The school of my dream is a big, beautiful school with wide and light corridors. There are new modern chairs and desks. There is a sport centre with good swimming pool. There is a big green park around the school. There is a nice and tasty food. I think students need more salads, fruit, and buns.

There students spend a lot of time together. They help each other. The school life is very interesting. Students often go for walks, on excursions, to museums, cinema and theatres. There are kind, intelligent and fair teachers. Students go to lessons at nine or ten o’clock. They like to study very much. I would make the breaks between lessons longer. In my ideal school I would like to have my favourite subjects every day. Students have got their own computers on their desks.

The school library is very rich in new interesting books. There is hall which is full of different musical instruments. They are available to students.

The next step is holidays. Summer holidays are long enough but I would make autumn, winter and spring holidays longer to let pupils to spend more in different activities or to travel.

And, at last, I want to say that there are no difficult tests and home tasks at my school. Everyone is healthy, cheer and happy.

School Uniform

School uniform is an inseparable part of school life in many countries. Most schools in Russia also require school uniforms. However, some schools accept freestyle clothes.

Many people think how the school uniforms should look like. Some schools have blue uniforms, others use black or red. Some schools in Russia accept white shirts and black skirts for girls and black trousers for boys. Nevertheless, all these school uniforms have something in common. They all look rather neat and strict. Pupils’s opinions on school uniform differ. Some say they like wearing it, while others prefer to wear jeans or bright T-shirts.

In my opinion, the school uniform has both advantages and disadvantages. First of all when children wear a school uniform, they understand that they are at school not at a swimming-pool or stadium. It adjusts them to school atmosphere and helps to study harder. Secondly, school uniforms prevent social inequality. It means that both rich and poor children wear the same clothes. Furthermore, children don’t have such problem as what to wear in the morning. The disadvantages of school uniform include the loss of individuality. Everyone becomes alike and children look similar. The second problem may be untidiness. As children wear the same clothes every day their uniform starts to look a bit dirty and faded. Last but not the least school uniforms have become rather expensive lately. So, not everyone can afford to buy it.

As for me, I support the idea of wearing a school uniform. I think that at home we can put on what we want, but at school we need to follow the rules.

My School (3)

I am going to tell you about my school. I have finished school number 129. My school is new and modern and it is very cosy and all the pupils like it very much, it is really home for everyone, not only who studies there but for all the stuff.

It has four floors. The classrooms are light and high. There are classrooms for practically all the subjects - two rooms for English classes, History room, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Literature rooms, etc.

There is a computer class in our school, where pupils study computing, one of the most important subjects nowadays. There is a school hall in our school, too/It is situated on the ground floor.

Meetings, conferences, concerts and all the celebrations take place there or in our assembly hall, which is situated on the first floor.

Our school has two gymnasiums and a sports -ground, football field and two basketball fields. Many pupils are fond of sports and they have a good opportunity to go in for different sports there. Also there is a swimming bath in our school. It is not too big.

I am very thankful to my school and all teaching stuff. When I was only seven years old, I entered school to get some knowledge and now I know many things due to my teachers. I have already got secondary education. The teachers in my school are very kind and clever; they give all their knowledge and all their love to the pupils.

There is a good tradition in our school. Every year the school leavers come here to meet their teachers and classmates. Such meetings are very touching and interesting. They take place every first Saturday of February.

I"ll never forget my school, my teachers and my classmates. To my thinking, it is my childhood and it is the happiest period in life. My first friends, my first love and my first achievements and disappointments are all connected with my school life.

Я собираюсь рассказать вам о моей школе. Я закончил школу номер 129. Моя школа является новой и современной, и она очень уютная и все ученики ее очень любят - это действительно дом для каждого, не только, для тех кто там учится, но и для тех, кто там работает.

Школа имеет четыре этажа. Классные комнаты - светлые и высокие. В школе есть классные комнаты фактически для всех предметов - две комнаты для занятий английским языком, комнаты для занятий историей, физикой, математикой, химией, географией, литературой и т. д.

В нашей школе есть и компьютерный класс, где ученики учатся работать на компьютере, это один из самых важных предметов в настоящее время. В нашей школе также есть школьный холл. Он расположен на первом этаже.

Встречи, конференции, концерты и все празднования проходят там или в нашем актовом зале, который расположен на втором этаже.

В нашей школе есть два спортивных зала и спортивная площадка, футбольное поле, две баскетбольные площадки. Многие ученики любят спорт, и они имеют хорошую возможность заняться там различными видами спортивных состязаний. Также в школе есть плавательный бассейн. Он не слишком большой.

Я очень благодарен моей школе и всему персоналу. Когда мне было только семь лет, я пошел в школу, чтобы получить знания, и теперь я знаю много всего благодаря моим преподавателям. Я уже получил среднее образование. Преподаватели в моей школе очень любезны и умны; они отдают ученикам все свои знания и всю свою любовь.

В нашей школе есть хорошая традиция. Каждый год выпускники школы приходят сюда, чтобы встретиться со своими преподавателями и одноклассниками. Такие встречи очень трогательны и интересны. Они проходят каждую первую субботу февраля.

My name is Alena. I am 9 years old. I"m a schoolgirl. I go to school every day: on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Sometimes I need to go to school on Saturday. We study English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, the Russian language, history, geography, literature, science, and other subjects.

Best of all I like to learn English. It is interesting and useful. I love to travel, so I try to learn English for my future trips.

I study English with a tutor 3 times a week. We discuss some English texts (topics) on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. We learn via Skype.

My school is really big, light, modern and comfortable. It has a great number of classrooms. The school has four floors. Plus, the students can use a dining room, a rest room, a dressing room. We gather in the assembly hall when anything important happens. I love my school teachers. Sometimes the principal comes to see our lessons.

It is very important to get good marks. I don"t want to make my parents upset, so I try to study hard.

My school years have been over and I should say that in general I have sweet memories of the 11 years I have spent at one and the same school.

When I’m talking now about my school I mean a whole complex of things, which made up my life there, influenced my views and outlook, formed my character to some degree and gave me pleasant feelings and emotions. I am absolutely sure that school plays an important role in every pupil’s life. School provides us not only with a certain amount of knowledge in science and humanities but renders assistance in facing the outside world. It’s also a place where we make friends, learn to value moral qualities in people and develop our talents and skills.

It’s common knowledge that success of school education depends mainly on the teachers, their professional skill, their attitude to the subjects they teach and the kind of relationship they can establish with the pupils.

Here I’d like to say that my teachers were highly educated people. They were strongly devoted to their work. And what is no less important, their attitude to the pupils was always friendly and tolerant. At our school we set up a kind of an independent state, the so-called School Republic, with the elected president. The pupils’ administration was responsible for arranging extraclass activities like concerts, debate clubs, sports competitions, picnics and excursions. Those activities were popular with pupils and teachers and they helped to create a kind of a team spirit among us.

The school building itself is of a typical design with the same layout and the distribution of classrooms, administrative offices, canteens, gyms and libraries as you can see in most other schools.

The ground floor was given to junior children. During the breaks they ran along the corridors making a lot of noise to which everyone got used. We, senior pupils, had upper floors to ourselves.

On the third floor there were different classrooms and special studies with the required equipment. For instance, we’d got two computer classrooms, two language classrooms with tape-recorders and videos.

We were proud of our assembly hall, where all kinds of performances, concerts and meetings were held. It had comfortable seats and was nicely decorated.

I’d like to say once again that school meant a lot to me in many ways. First and foremost it provided a high level of education mainly in foreign languages and other humanities. It’s a specialized English school in the centre of Grodno. And with all grounds I can say that I was privileged to study there.

Now when I have finished school, my heart is full of gratitude to most teachers for the knowledge they gave me and to many of my friends who made my school life enjoyable.

At present like all school-leavers I am looking forward to a new stage in my life and to having more independence and freedom.

I study at a small country school which is situated in a neighbouring village. It’s only two kilometres away from my house. So naturally I walk to and from school every day. As there aren’t many children in our area we have classes only in the morning and they begin at 9 o’clock. I don’t have to get up early in the morning to get to school on time. This year I finish school where I have spent eleven years.

Though situated in the village, our school looks nice and lovely. It’s a clean and attractive two-storeyed building. When you enter it you can see a large light entrance hall decorated with flowers, drawings and pictures made by pupils. The cloakroom, the canteen, the gym and the workshop are on the ground floor as well as the teachers’ room, the headmasters’ office and the classrooms for junior pupils. On the first floor there are classrooms for senior pupils and two laboratories. They are not very well-equipped and haven’t got many devices for making experiments in physics or chemistry, but we have two computers and several tape-recorders.

Near the school there is a big playground and a beautiful small forest where we like to play different games or ski in winter.

I like the friendly atmosphere at my school. We all know each other very well. We live close and work together in the field in autumn digging potatoes or doing other jobs to help our parents, most of whom are farmers. I can’t say I am good at all the subjects I study at school. I like Maths and History best of all.

In general I think I get good knowledge here in many subjects, especially such as languages, literatures, social studies and Maths though I have little interest in Biology, Physics and Chemistry.

I have very good teachers in these subjects. I like teachers who are patient, happy and do not shout. The Maths teacher is strict and gives a lot of homework. But I took part in the district maths competition this year and was one of the winners. Our history teacher arranges interesting discussions and we all take part in them. There are hardly any serious discipline problems at our school as there are practically no difficult children here. Some pupils, of course, are not hard-working and are not doing well in some subjects. They say they will go into practical jobs in future, so they don’t want to put much effort into learning those subjects.

Most pupils of our school take part in extra-class activities. We prepare concerts for the pupils and the parents on different holidays. New Year concerts are the best. I am a member of our school folk dance group.

We’ve also an assembly hall, which is situated on the second floor. Meetings, conferences, concerts and all the celebrations take place here. We prepare different performances for all holidays. We sing songs, recite poetry, dance, and participate in theatre performances.

There are many opportunities to go in for sports in our school. Our school has a gym, a sports ground, a football field, a swimming pool, and other sports facilities. There are many different sports groups: table tennis, swimming, athletics, football, volleyball, wrestling, and rhythmic gymnastics. Many pupils of our school attend these sports groups.

In our school we have also painting group, dance group, theatre group and rock group. All these groups are very popular and many pupils attend them.

The teachers in our school are very skilled. They try to give us all their knowledge and awake our interest to their subjects and to self study. Besides the school subjects, our teachers tell us about everything, about different problems of our world, such as ecology, nature protection, climat changes etc.

There is a good tradition in our school. Every year people who graduated our school come here to meet their teachers and classmates. These meetings take place every first Saturday of February.

I think that school years are very important for every person. It’s a period of becoming adult, achieving knowledges, and choosing your way in life. Often school friends remain your friends for all your life. So I’ll never forget my school, my teachers, and my classmates.

В нашей школе преподают очень квалифицированные учителя. Они стараются передать нам все свои знания и пробудить интерес к своим предметам и к самообразованию. Учителя не только преподают нам школьные предметы, но и рассказывают обо всем, о различных мировых проблемах, таких как экология, охрана природы, климатические изменения и т.д.

В нашей школе есть хорошая традиция. Каждый год выпускники школы приходят на встречу с учителями и одноклассниками. Эти встречи проходят каждую первую субботу февраля.

Я считаю, что школьные годы очень важны для каждого человека. Это период взросления, приобретения знаний и выбора жизненного пути. Очень часто школьные друзья остаются вашими друзьями на всю жизнь. Поэтому я никогда не забуду мою школу, учителей и одноклассников.

Моя школа

Я розповім вам про свою школу. Моя школа - нова і сучасна, і вона мені дуже подобається. У неї три поверхи. Класи світлі і просторі. Є класи для різних предметів, таких як англійська мова, історія, фізика, математика, хімія, географія, біологія, література тощо.

У нашій школі є комп’ютерний клас. Тут ми вивчаємо інформатику. У нашому комп’ютерному класі - найсучасніше обладнання, і є доступ до Інтернету.

У нашій школі є також актова зала, яка розташована на другому поверсі. Тут відбуваються збори, конференції, концерти і всі свята. Ми готуємо цікаві вистави до всіх свят. Ми співаємо пісень, читаємо вірші, танцюємо і беремо участь в невеликих театральних дійствах.

У нашій школі є багато можливостей для занять спортом. В школі є спортзал, спортивний майданчик, футбольне поле, плавальний басейн і інші спортивні споруди. У нас є багато різних спортивних секцій: настільний теніс, плавання, легка атлетика, футбол, волейбол, боротьба і художня гімнастика. Багато учнів відвідують ці спортивні секції.

У нашій школі також є кружки малювання, танців, театральний кружок і рок-гурт. Всі ці кружки дуже популярні і багато учнів відвідують їх.

У нашій школі викладають дуже кваліфіковані вчителі. Вони прагнуть передати нам всі свої знання і пробудити цікавість до своїх предметів і до самоосвіти. Вчителі не лише викладають нам шкільні предмети, але і розповідають про все, про різні світові проблеми, такі як екологія, охорона природи, кліматичні зміни тощо.

У нашій школі є гарна традиція. Щороку випускники школи приходять на зустріч з вчителями і однокласниками. Ці зустрічі відбуваються кожну першу суботу лютого.

Я вважаю, що шкільні роки дуже важливі для кожної людини. Це період дорослішання, набуття знань і вибору життєвого шляху. Дуже часто шкільні друзі залишаються вашими друзями на все життя. Тому я ніколи не забуду мою школу, вчителів і однокласників.
